Book review #1: The Midnight Library

One of my favourite fiction in 2020.

A gem, literally, from Matt Haig.. one of them authors I follow on Twitter but never really read any of their books. Until The Midnight Library did its rounds again sometime mid November last year.

It tells the story of Nora Seed whom after feeling unfulfilled for so long decides to overdose herself to death. Somehow she ended up in a library between life and death where time stops at 12pm and she gets to try all the other lives she could’ve lived if only she made different choices.

I’ve always thought of those “what ifs” and this book made me think so much about life and all the choices I’ve made.. It was one of the most meaningful books I’ve read in 2020 🌸💚
