Book review: In Her Eyes by Sarah Alderson

Format: ebook

Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐

I picked this up after reading The Stalker (see my previous post❤).  I must admit, it’s not as amazing as The Stalker BUT.. I definitely don’t regret getting into the #sarahaldersonthriller bandwagon. 🙌

Excerpt from GR: Ava’s life is the kind other people envy: loving well-off husband, great kids, and a beautiful house. It’s all great until the night a violent home invasion turns the dream into a nightmare, and leaves her daughter comatose, fighting to survive.
And then things get worse. Ava realises that the attack wasn’t random.
Someone is targeting her family. Why??

I thoroughly enjoyed the first half – the great details of the home invasion terrifies me still 🥶! A mentally scarred Ava (and me😖) then decides that she needs to find out who was behind the attack as it’s still not over. The slow burn as she uncovers every little secret and tries to understand things made this book hard to put down. That said, unfortunately I didn’t quite like the oh-so-many twists and the ending not the great revelation I was hoping for. Still, on a whole, I did enjoy reading this and yes, would definitely pick up another one from Sarah Alderson!

Have you read this? What do you think?
